Cyberbullying Victimization and Social Anxiety: Mediating Effects with Moderation

Cyberbullying experiences are considered an important factor contributing to social anxiety among college students. However, potential mediators of the relationship between cyberbullying and anxiety, which may strengthen or weaken this relationship, unclear. The present study examined mediating role self-esteem appearance as well moderating gender. A total 269 students participated in a questionnaire survey on victimization, self-esteem, 240 valid questionnaires were obtained, including 71 from males 169 females. results show that victimization was significantly positively correlated with anxiety; negatively anxiety. mainly affects students’ two ways: sequential self-esteem.
